Welcome to the beautiful City of Fayetteville, Arkansas! The City of Fayetteville wants all residents to understand our City codes. Below is a list of common code violations:
- Inoperable Vehicles - Any vehicle that is not able to be driven on the street is considered inoperable and should be parked only in an enclosed garage or covered carport.
- Junk and Debris in Yard - Brush, furniture, appliances, junk and other items should be kept out of the yard.
- Overgrown Grass/Weeds - Mow your yard. Grass should be kept shorter than 8 inches. On vacant lots, grass should be kept shorter than 18 inches.
- Over-occupancy - No more than 4 unrelated people are allowed to occupy a residence in a Multi-Family Zone. No more than 3 unrelated people are allowed to occupy a residence in a Single Family Zone.
- Parking in the Yard - Park in the driveway or where there is a maintained parking spot. The maximum number of vehicles allowed on a single family property is 4.
