Event Information

2019 will bring the fourth annual Frozen Toes 15K Trail Run. This race is perfect for runners looking to transition from a 5K or 10K to a longer distance. The singletrack trails of Kessler Mountain are technical in some areas, but the views are worth it! This cold weather run is followed by hot soup! In addition to Male/Female Overall Finisher and Age Group awards, all participants will have a chance to win other prizes.

Registration for the Frozen Toes 15k is now open. $30 from November 1-February 1. $35 from February 1-16. Includes custom event socks, chip timing, finisher medal, and hot soup at the finish! 

A room block with a reduced nightly rate of $109 (for the night of February 15) has been made available at The Chancellor Hotel for Frozen Toes! Your hotel booking will need to be made prior to February 1. Contact The Chancellor Hotel directly with any other related inquiries, 479.442.5555.

Training Program

New in 2019 will be a six week training program leading up to the race. The focus of this program will be to get runners trail ready for the technical course on Kessler Mountain. Registration is limited to 15 participants. Must be able to run 5-6 miles comfortably (trail or pavement) as a prerequisite. The training group will meet on Sundays at 10:00am, starting January 6, 2019 and ending February 10, 2019. This program is offered in partnership with Sequoyah Performance Run Coaching. $75 fee includes registration to the race, six group sessions, and a Headsweats brand hat. 

Course Details

The start/finish of the race will be at the Kessler Mountain Regional Park located off Judge Cummings Road.
DIRECTIONS: From I-49, take Exit 60 and go south on Cato Springs Road about one-half mile and turn right on Judge Cummings Road (WC 200). The races will utilize the singletrack trail. 


Prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers, as well as to the top male and female finishers in each age group.
